Shah Rukh Khan's Body Double Prashant Walde Steps Into The Actor's Shoes To Shoot For Atlee's Film Amid Aryan Khan's Drug Case Controversy -Report
Shah Rukh Khan and his family is going through a difficult time due to Aryan Khan's arrest by NCB.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's son Aryan has been making headlines ever since he got arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday. The arrest came after the department conducted a raid following a tip-off about drug use in a Goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship on the Mumbai coast. He has now been sent to judicial custody till October 7. Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly shooting for Atlee's upcoming film when the whole thing happened. Given that his son was arrested by NCB, SRK cancelled the shoot and has asked for a few days off till his son gets bail.
In the mean time, it is SRK's body double Prashant Walde who has stepped in for the actor and makers are ensuring that the shoots go as per schedule as much as possible. As per reports, the shoot is happening in Cumballa Hill's BD Petit Parsee General Hospital.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Prashant said that he has been shooting in the absence of SRK. It seems they have finished 20 days of the shoot while 180 days remained to be canned. According to the reports SRK has cancelled the shoot of Pathan in Spain that was supposed to happen from October 7. When asked if he will be travelling to Spain, Prashant said, "I can't comment. The movie also reportedly stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Sunil Grover. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the movie features Shah Rukh Khan in a double role.
Apart from Atlee's film, SRK will also be seen in an action-thriller titled Pathan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
